Bestival is a four-day festival located on Dorset's Jurassic Coast in England, previously held on the Isle of Wight. This multi-award-winning event combines a family-friendly festival experience with an action-packed camping holiday, aptly dubbed a "festi-holiday". Families can delight in specially curated kids' activities like The World's Biggest Bouncy Castle and a mesmerizing fireworks display, ensuring smiles all around at the festival.
Tickets
Camp Bestival in Dorset offers a range of ticket options to suit every festival-goer. For day visitors looking to soak up the atmosphere without camping, prices range from £80 to £90 for adult tickets, £46 to £52 for teens aged 13-17, and children's tickets priced between £18 and £41. Babies under one year old can enter for free. If you're planning to stay for the whole weekend, camping tickets are available, with adult weekend tickets priced at £232.
History of Bestival
Since its debut in 2004, Bestival has grown from attracting 10,000 attendees to a peak of 55,000 in 2010. Known for its themed fancy dress since 2008—ranging from Fantasy to Alice in Wonderland—each year brings new and exciting concepts. Awarded 'Best Major Festival' at the 2015 UK Festival Awards, Bestival also champions environmental and social causes, supporting Isle of Wight-based youth organizations and charities. It maintains a boutique feel with innovative features like the inflatable church and "Breastival," a yurt for breastfeeding mothers.
