Even though the main focus of the event is rock music, you also have a chance to listen to pop, hip-hop, and electronic musicians who perform on four stages. This festival first welcomed music fans in 1994. Since then world-famous stars like Iggy Pop, Sting, Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Blur, Metallica, Massive Attack, Kendrick Lamar, Jamie xx, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have performed at the festival.
Previously, the event took place near Lisbon along the coast, but recently it has moved to Parque De Nações located in the city. So now it is even more convenient to attend the concerts. To join the gathering you need a ticket: a daily ticket costs 55€, FNAC Pack 95€, and three-day pass over 100€. You may also choose a VIP type of ticket with front stage access.
