Summerjam, one of Europe's premier reggae festivals, is held annually in July at Fühlinger See Lake in Cologne, Germany. The event unfolds across two stages and two spacious tents, featuring top reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop acts alongside emerging artists. With an attendance of approximately 30,000 each year, the festival transforms the lakeside camping area into a vibrant musical haven. Moreover, Summerjam serves as a platform for introducing Jamaican artists and diverse reggae-inspired music genres to audiences across Europe.

The lineup for 2024 includes an eclectic mix of talented performers, such as Becca D, Beenie Man, Bounty & Cocoa, Burna Boy, Busy Signal, Collie Buddz, Culcha Candela, D´Yani, Ezhel, Fatoni, Greeen, J Boog, Jah Lil, Jesse Royal, Jizzle, Jugglerz, Julian Marley, Kelvyn Colt, Khalia, Konshens, Ky-Mani Marley, Kybba, L´Entourloop, Lila Iké, Majan, Marsimoto, Martin Jondo, Megaloh, Miwata, OG Keemo, Omar Jatta, Pow Pow Movement, Queen Omega, Rin, Romain Virgo, Samora, Samory I, Savvy, Sido, Skillibeng, Steel Pulse, and Tjark.
Tickets
The ticket prices for the 2024 festival are as follows: E-Ticket Friday is €85, E-Ticket Saturday is €90, and E-Ticket Sunday is €85. These tickets provide access to a diverse range of performances and activities, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all attendees. Please note that an additional €10 advanced booking fee applies to all tickets. Children up to and including 12 years of age are admitted free of charge when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
History of the Festival
Summerjam was founded in 1985 and has been held in various locations: at the Loreley, at the airport Wildenrath, until it finally moved to beautiful Fühlinger See in 1996. Past live acts of the festival included Black Uhuru, Jimmy Cliff, Fantan Mojah, Dennis Brown, Steel Pulse, Aswad, Burning Spear, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Misty In Roots, Lee Scratch Perry, Radical Dance Faction, Tony Rebel, Bunny Wailer, Shaggy, Sizzla, Sean Paul, Groundation, and Alpha Blondy. More recent lineups included Marteria, Gentleman, Ziggy Marley, Buju Banton, UB40, Anthony B, Sly & Robbie, Junior Kelly, U-Roy, Glen Washington, Pablo Moses, and Freddie McGregor. T Dolla Sign and MHD represent hip hop.
