I Days 2019

One of Italy's biggest music festivals

I Days (also known as Independence Days) is an annual summer music festival taking place in Milan, Italy. In its first year the festival, held since 1999, had a punk theme. However, it has become more mainstream over the years. Each year I Days offers an impressive line-up of big-name headliners as well as newly discovered artists. In the previous years, it hosted legendary bands like Blink 182, Greenday, Sum 41 and Linkin Park.

Past line-ups also included Franz Ferdinand, Editors, Maxïmo Park, The Bravery, Angels & Airwaves, Social Distortion, All Time Low, Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, The Wombats, The Offspring, No Use for a Name, Face to Face, The Leeches, Simple Plan, Sum 41, Deep Purple, The Kooks, Twisted Wheel, Expatriate, The Hacienda, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Bad Religion, Queens of the Stone Age, The Blood Brothers, The Bravery, The Futureheads, Meganoidi, Skin, Social Distortion, Forty Winks, Marsh Mallows, The Peawees, Sikitikis, Sonic Youth, The Libertines, Mark Lanegan, Mondo Generator, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, Colour Of Fire, Blueskins, Julie's Haircut, and The Darkness.

Four days in a luxurious Milan listening to your favourite rock and pop stars is surely a great idea for a summer festival. Thousands are flocking to "Italian Glastonbury" for a weekend of fun. Every summer IDays draws 40,000-50,000 attendees.
