Edmonton Motorcycle & Powersport Show 2024
The favorite get-together for riders and future riders
Dates: January 26–28, 2024 (canceled)
Each winter, Moto Canada, formerly known as the Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council (MMIC) holds a number of motorcycle & powersport shows throughout Canada. With stops in Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, and Calgary, the event is a vibrant gathering of moto enthusiasts, where you can see all the new models of motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, and side-by-sides. You can also check out gear, apparel, as well as witness amazing stunts on two wheels. The show in Edmonton isn't a regular stop on the tour list but manages to draw in impressive crowds nonetheless.
Show Program & Events
Edmonton Motorcycle Show features the latest products, services, and accessories from top manufacturers. In addition, there are a few special events you shouldn't miss. The Ground 'N' Gravity Show is a freestyle motocross stunt show that gives visitors goosebumps. SHE Rides is a celebration of women on motorcycles. An extreme MX Freestyle Show features the best riders defying gravity and the laws of physics with amazing back flips, whips, stoppies, and cliffhangers.
The Yamaha Riding Academy offers an opportunity for kids ages 6-12 to try the coolest motocross gear and learn to ride a Yamaha TT-R off-road motorcycle. The academy creates a safe and secure environment where kids are in the company of experienced instructors.
Location
This premier event usually takes place at the Edmonton Expo Centre, situated in the Edmonton Northlands. The venue has approximately 522,000 square feet (48495 sq m) of space, which makes it perfect for such a grand show as the Edmonton Motorcycle & Powersport Show.
Schedule of Other Shows
The show is set to be held in other major cities throughout Canada. Tradex in Abbotsford in Vancouver welcomes attendees on January 17-19th, while BMO Centre in Calgary plays host to the legendary show on January 31-February 2. Toronto holds the event in the Enercare Centre on February 14-16, while Montreal's Palais des congres de Montreal serves as a venue for this year's show on February 28-March 2.
2025 Edition
Moto Canada has already announced the itinerary for the 2025 edition of the Motorcycle & Powersports Show, and Edmonton, unfortunately, is not on the list. The show was last held in 2024 with moderate success and, hopefully, will continue to draw in thousands of bikers and drivers from all around Canada in its future editions. For now, those wanting to experience the magic of this event, can purchase tickets to Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal shows.
