Festival Napa Valley is an annual music, dance, and theater event, taking place at various venues throughout California's Wine Country. The festival features over 200 musicians, including renowned and aspiring artists. Innovative performances take place at Napa Valley's best wineries and theaters as well as resorts and restaurants.
Festival Napa Valley draws about 10,000 attendees annually, who are attracted by its diverse program: from classical music to jazz. The festival offers about 100 events in 10 days. It previously hosted classical musicians like Piotr Anderszewski, Joshua Bell, Regina Carter, Vadym Kholodenko, Sarah Chang, Chad Hoopes, Midori, Dmitri Sitkovetsky, Franc D'Ambrosio, David Daniels, Matt Haimovitz, Nina Kotova, Kevin Olusola, James Galway, and many more. Festival Napa Valley featured Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Concord Jazz All-Stars, Emerson String Quartet, Havana Chamber Orchestra, as well as Napa Valley Symphony and Festival Orchestra Napa. In addition, famous Cirque du Soleil, American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, New York City Ballet, The Royal Ballet, Staatsballett Berlin, and Stuttgart Ballet have been performing at the festival over the years.
The festival's social events include daily Vintner's Luncheons and Patron Dinners where guests, performers, the valley's top chefs, and vintners can mingle in beautiful settings of the Valley's best wineries. The festival's highlights include The Arts for All Gala, which occurs on the first Sunday of the festival's summer season. Also, Festival Napa Valley holds about 20 free concerts, taking place in the parks and other public spaces of Napa Valley.
