A free open-air concert by London's oldest orchestra in the heart of UK's capital

Every summer London symphony orchestra gives a free concert in Trafalgar Square playing its Classics series. The orchestra is joined by 50 young musicians from the LSO On Track programme and musicians from the Guildhall School of Music. The program usually includes works by Dvořák, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, and Massenet. The performance is part of Sounds Like London festival, promoted by the Mayor of London.
The London Symphony Orchestra is one of the most famous orchestras in Europe performing over 120 concerts every year. It was named in top five orchestras in the world by Gramophone. Its conductors include Sir Simon Rattle as Music Director, Gianandrea Noseda and François-Xavier Roth as Principal Guest Conductors, Michael Tilson Thomas as Conductor Laureate, and André Previn as Conductor Emeritus.
