Spring months, from April through June, are the best time to visit Cabo San Lucas, considering the weather, hotel rates, and various activities such as fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling. The fall months of October and November also offer many advantages: thinner crowds, warm, mellow weather, and numerous festivals, events, and celebrations, such as Dia de los Muertos. Winter months usually bring too many visitors to Cabo San Lucas, and hotel rates go up. However, winter is also a perfect time for whale watching and surfing. The worst months to visit Cabo San Lucas are August and September. The temperature is rather hot, and it rains a lot.
