Black truffle is a special gift given to Italy from mother nature
Best time: mid-November–mid-March
Although black truffles are less rare and thus cheaper in comparison with the white variety, they are not less tasty. Moreover, these truffles are distinguished by special subtle smell. The fungi come into season in the middle of November and are on the menu until the middle of March.
