Typically the Korea's northern neighbours receive the largest share of typhoons and other unfortunate presents from monsoon season. However, it doesn't mean that South Korea is entirely safe from natural disaster. The monsoon season which brings gloomy rainy days falls annually between July and late August, so keep this in mind while planning your vacation.
