No Pants Subway Ride in New York 2024

Even freezing temperatures don't stop New Yorkers from joining the annual No Pants Subway Ride, a casual way to display fun underwear.

This prank was launched by Improv Everywhere, an NYC comedy collective that stages funny performances in public places. In 10 years the number of participants grew from a couple of dozens to thousands. And the prank proved to be a great success internationally since 60 cities across the globe joined in.

Organisers announce the date of the ride in early December, so you can plan your No Pants Subway Ride one month in advance.
