Teufelsbrücke or Devil's Bridge in Switzerland 2025

Schöllenen Gorge is l​ocated in the Swiss canton of Uri between the towns of Göschenen and Andermatt to the south. Surrounded by Enclosed by granite walls, it has several spectacular bridges and tunnels, the most famous of which is Teufelsbrücke or Devil's Bridge. According to a legend dating back to Middle Ages, this bridge was constructed by Devil himself! Devil’s Bridge is also a part of the Gotthard pass, a meeting point of Switzerland's four cultural regions and a popular place for hiking and biking during the summer.
