Ice Rink at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas 2025-2026
A true winter fairy tale awaits guests at the ice rink in the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan Hotel
Best time: late November–early January
What could be more surreal than an ice rink in the desert? But during the Christmas holidays in Las Vegas, an ice rink at the Cosmopolitan welcomes everyone to practice their skills and have fun.
The Ice Rink
Every year, the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan turns into a Christmas fairy tale over the Las Vegas Strip. For this, a field of 4,200 square feet turns into a huge ice arena decorated with bright lights and Christmas decorations. Visitors can fully immerse themselves in the enchanting atmosphere of Las Vegas, where the dazzling lights set the perfect backdrop for a memorable holiday experience. The Ice Rink has been recognized as one of USA Today's 10 Best Ice Skating Rinks in North America, cementing its reputation as a premier destination for skating enthusiasts seeking an exceptional and festive experience.
Special Events
Besides the skating, the Ice Rink offers various events and activities. From December 14 to 15, visitors can enjoy special opportunities to take photos with Santa, followed by a meet-and-greet with Chelsea Gray and Jackie Young of the Las Vegas Aces on December 15.
As the year draws to a close, the excitement peaks with a spectacular New Year's Eve fireworks celebration on December 31. Set atop a rooftop ice rink with unparalleled views of The Las Vegas Strip, this event promises an unforgettable experience with a live DJ, an open bar, and a champagne toast at midnight. Doors open at 9 pm, and tickets start at $200 plus taxes and fees, which includes access to the open bar and the midnight toast.
For a cozy and romantic experience, Date Skate runs through January 6 on select Mondays and Tuesdays. These events are perfect for couples, featuring movie date nights on ice, complete with a warm fire pit, signature cocktails, and classic holiday films shown on a 65-foot digital marquee.
