The cake initially originated from the holiday that celebrated the kings who searched for the Christ child to give him presents. This cake is now a big part of the Mardi Gras and the Carnival season in general. The little plastic boy is put in the cake, and the person who gets it will always be happy! Or at least for the coming year. Tasting a bit like a cinnamon bun, the cake is unique and nutritious and everyone gives pieces of it as a gift.
