This traditional sweet is a must delicacy for Greeks on Christmas, Easter and wedding tables. Made of 40 sheets of phyllo dough it specifically represents the 40 days of Lent before such significant celebrations. The dish is stuffed with chopped nuts wich are generously covered in honey or syrop.
