Think of lots of neon, trance and house music, millions of people from all around the world, —and party, party, party! The venues are constantly packed, and the best DJ's often visit the multiple venues. Earlier, the party was notorious for open drug use, but recently the police have become more serious about it, which led to some arrests and better public security.
Be sure to take your best mood, but also some shoes to prevent stepping on the broken bottle, copies of your documents, as well as limited amount of money packed in different places, and of course sunscreen, because that party night easily can turn into a morning party and the sunshine is getting strong quite early here.
The parties take place in the clubs along the Haad Rin Beach, Ko Pha Ngan island, Thailand. Partygoers pay at the entrance to the Haad Rin Beach and receive a wristband that gives them access to the beach party for the whole night.
