4th of July Block Party (July 4, 2024)

LA 4th of July Block Party takes place at Grand Park and The Music Center from 4 pm to 9:30 pm. Enjoy the music of all genres at three different stages and try some of the best American dishes from food trucks and local restaurants. But most importantly, you can relish the dazzling fireworks at the end of the holiday on the rooftop. This year's event includes arts activities, sports games, live music, and dance alongside a variety of LA's favorite food trucks and DJs playing genres ranging from hip-hop and reggaeton to funk and more. The headliners are Grupo Soñador and DJ Nu-Mark. Whatever your expectations for the holiday are, the Block Party won't disappoint you!

Palisades 4th Parade & Fireworks (July 4, 2024)

One of the greatest events of the 4th of July Weekend is the Pacific Palisades Parade. The procession starts at about 2 pm with skydivers descending from the sky. March bands promenade on Sunset Boulevard, between Via de la Paz and Drummond. The festivities end with a concert by Hey Mister DJ and fireworks, scheduled at 9 pm. However, the entry gates close as early as 8:45 pm.

Huntington Beach 4th of July (June 30–July 5, 2024)

For an active 4th of July celebration, head to Huntington Beach Pier. The festivities include The Kiwanis Club of Huntington Beach hosting their annual Pancake Breakfast at Lake Park starting at 8 am, a 5K Surf City Run and fitness expo, and the iconic 4th of July parade, considered the largest west of the Mississippi River, starting at 10 am. The parade route covers 2.5 miles (4 km), beginning on Pacific Coast Highway and passing by the Huntington Beach Pier and onto Main Street. Additionally, the Pier Plaza Festival offers music, entertainment, barbecued food, and family activities throughout the day, culminating in a grand fireworks display, Fireworks Over the Ocean, at 9 pm. All beach viewing for the fireworks is open to the public.
