LA 4th of July Block Party takes place at Grand Park and The Music Center. Enjoy the music of all genres at three different stages and try some of the best American dishes from food trucks and local restaurants. But most importantly, you can relish the dazzling fireworks at the end of the holiday on the rooftop. Whatever your expectations for the holiday are, the Block Party won't disappoint you!
Palisades 4th Parade & Fireworks (July 4, 2024)
One of the greatest events of the 4th of July Weekend is the Pacific Palisades Parade. The procession starts at about 2 pm with skydivers descending from the sky. March bands promenade on Sunset Boulevard, between Via de la Paz and Drummond. The festivities end with a concert by Hey Mister DJ and fireworks, scheduled at 9 pm. However, the entry gates close as early as 8:45 pm.
Huntington Beach 4th of July (June–July, 2024, TBA)
If you prefer to celebrate the 4th of July in an active way head to Huntington Beach Pier. The local celebration features a 5K race and fitness expo, a parade, and also Pier Plaza Festival offering music and great entertainment. Enjoy plenty of barbecued meat and activities for the whole family, which end with a grand fireworks display.
