Sigalagala is hosting a traditional communal celebration that is marked by bullfights held by local Luhya people. The bulls from two villages are well-respected creatures, and before the event, they are treated with beer. Then people provoke the bulls to fight against each other while the crowd cries and cheers. The typical fight lasts from 5 to 30 minutes and is followed by huge traditional celebrations. Don't miss this extravagant part of the local culture.
