National Mill Day 2024 in The Netherlands

Mills are iconic for Holland, so no wonder there is a special holiday to honour them. During this day, ​visitors can choose between about 1000 water- or windmills and go on a tour to see how it's being operated and maintained. Fun activities are often organised for children so it's a great family event. Bicycle tours to mills are also available.
