The months of March, April, and May are known for long rains. This is the wettest and hottest period of the year. Heavy showers occur every day, but the rain doesn't last the whole day typically. Usually, mornings are cool and you can expect tropical downpoors in the afternoon. It is also a very cloudy period, thus not the best time for vistas, walks, or safaris. The humidity level is really high and the wettest month is April.
