Accommodations
There are First Class private rooms as well as Coach accommodations with big, comfortable seats and plenty of legroom on this legendary train. Passengers can choose between Lower/Upper Level Coach Class Seat, Superliner Roomette, Superliner Bedroom, Superliner Bedroom Suite, Superliner Family Bedroom, or Superliner Accessible Bedroom.
Lower/Upper Level Coach Class Seat
Coach Class Seat features wide, reclining seats with ample legroom, reading lights, and electric outlets. There are no middle seat options and at-seat trays available. Restrooms can be found in each car.
Superliner Roomette
The Superliner Roomette is an option for passengers seeking both privacy and savings, featuring priority boarding, two seats by day transformed into upper and lower beds, upgraded bedding, pillows, towels, and linens, a restroom and shower in your car, a dedicated First Class attendant, complimentary lounge access, and meals.
Superliner Bedroom
The Superliner Bedroom promises plenty of comfort due to priority boarding, twice the space of a Roomette, a sofa and separate chair, which are transformed into upper and lower beds at night, upgraded bedding, pillows, towels, and linens, an in-room sink, restroom, and shower, a dedicated First Class attendant, complimentary lounge access and meals.
Food
On the Coast Starlight train, passengers can enjoy traditional dining service, offered to customers traveling in First Class. Traditional dining features seasonal menus and a wide selection of entrees. You can enjoy a wide selection of beverages with your meal, including beer, wine, and spirits. Breakfast is available from 6:30 to 9:30 am, lunch from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm, and dinner from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
Additionally, the Coast Starlight offers a Cafe service with a wide selection of meals, snacks, and beverages available for purchase. The Cafe is open to customers in all classes of service throughout the day and night.
Pet Policy
Passengers can take small dog or cat (up to 20 pounds (9 kilogram) along with them on the train.
