Cocoa Harvest Season Featured in
Want to taste the real chocolate? Madagascar is the right place to see how cocoa is growing, being harvested and turned into chocolate. The crops are gathered twice a year: at the beginning of the rainy season from October through November and also at the beginning of the dry season from May through June.
Madagascar produces less than 0,5% of the international cocoa. Although it is not much, the cocoa is praised for its exceptional quality.
