There are a plenty of ways to cook a Christmas ham. In Norway this usually involves various traditional spices and marinades. The most popular variant is cooked with cinnamon, cloves, and brown sugar which gives the ham unforgettable flavor. The same spices are usually used to cook Christmas pork sausage that accompanies Ribbe. During the Christmas season between November and late December ham and sausages are on every dinner table in Norway!
