Austin Pride Festival and Parade usually take place in August at Fiesta Gardens in Austin, Texas. Being one of the largest in the state, Pride Week in Austin attracts over 500,000 attendees. It is known for vibrant parties and fantastic entertainment throughout the city.

Pride Festival takes place at Fiesta Gardens from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. offering free inflatable games and carnival rides, Drag Queen Story Time Under the Big Tree in the Family Zone from noon to 1 p.m. There is a fair of over 140 vendor booths with arts and crafts as well as food and drinks vendors. Admission tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children and teens under 17.

Pride Parade is the highlight of Austin Pride Week that takes place on Congress Ave. in Warehouse District from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Parade starts from the Texas State Capitol Building down Congress Ave., then turns right on 4th St. and ends with the Roof top at Rain. The parade features many local organizations, party promoters, queer icons, drag queens, and spectacular floats.
