History
The March of Pride in Buenos Aires, held in November, commemorates the founding of Nuestro Mundo, the first Argentine and Latin American LGBT organization, in November 1967. The inaugural March of Pride took place in 1992, and since then, most marches have been held annually on the first Saturday of November. Notably, Argentina was the first country in Latin America to legalize same-sex marriages.
