Music fans should definitely pay attention to this festival in Litschau. From Friday to Sunday about 30 different groups play schrammel. It's a Viennese folk music style named after Austrian musicians, the Schrammel brothers, who developed it in the 19th century. Music is played on six stages around the peaceful lake, including one barge that cruises with performers on it. The informality of the performances makes the festival even more interesting and unpredictable.
