Sheep cheese from the island of Pag is one of Croatia's gastronomic delights. If you get it aged, it tastes like parmesan. If you happen to be on the island you can visit the factory and witness the whole magic of cheese making. But bear in mind that cheese production is seasonal and connected to sheep milking that usually lasts from January to June.
