Wheels and Waves is an annual summer multi-sport festival between France and Spain. As the name suggests, it's a motorcycle and surf festival. The event features five days of extreme motorcycling, great surfing, skating, live music concerts, and wild partying. Wheels and Waves is a perfect vacation occasion to enjoy nature and your favorite hobbies.

Festival's Lineup

Wheels and Waves Fest features a surfing contest, several motorcycle races, a sand race, scenic group rides from the coast to the mountains, and skate contests. From the Sprint Race at Punk's Peak on Mount Jaizkibel on June 12 to the Sand Race in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle on June 14, drivers and pilots of all levels can test their skills in exciting sprints and enduro challenges.

The WAW Vintage Rally (June 14) in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle offers a nostalgic twist, while the El Rollo Dirt Track (June 15) event in San Sebastián Hipódromo promises daring feats without a front brake. Surfers can catch the waves at the Duo Log Surf Contest in Biarritz, while skaters showcase their tricks at the Hit The Deck Skate Contest in the vibrant atmosphere of the W&W Village. All events run from 10 am to midnight; the Sunday events wrap up at 6 pm.

Activities

The festival village hosts over 120 stalls with various motorcycle and surfing-related goods. At the Artride exhibition in Skatepark Biarritz, visitors can witness exceptional vehicles or artistic projects, such as photographs and paintings. Similarly, in Wrinkled, visitors can partake in numerous escapes, either individually or in groups. There are live music concerts and movie screenings every night at the Cité de l’Océan in Biarritz. The organizers offer selected food stands for a wide and varied offer, favoring local products.

Tickets prices

E-passes Are 70€ and may be purchased online. They offer access to all experiences on all days of the shows. All passes are also purchasable at the W&W Village's on-site ticket counter. The 5-Day Pass, at 90€, grants full access to all experiences, while the 3-Day Pass (70€) covers Friday to Sunday, and the Weekend Pass (45€) is valid for Saturday and Sunday. Day Passes (25€) are available for daily access, and the 1 Experience Pass (15€) lets you select a specific event. Access is free for kids under 16, accompanied by a paying adult.

Location & Parking

The festival is held in Biarritz, at la Cité de l’Océan, and other spots scattered on the Basque coast. FranceE-PASS holders have the option to request access to the W&W Village through their WAW account. This grants them the convenience of bringing in and taking out their motorbike or car as per their preference, subject to availability. Additionally, parking facilities will be provided near the W&W Village and other designated Wheels and Waves locations for the convenience of visitors.
