Crankworx Whistler is a world-famous festival of mountain biking that occurs every summer in Whistler, a mountain town north of Vancouver, British Columbia. The week-long event gathers the world's best riders and biggest bike fans. Crankworx Whistler features racing, slopestyle competitions, and Kidsworx races.

Every day of Crankworx Whistler is full of events, races, and demonstrations. The festival was founded in 2004 and shortly evolved into a world-class international event in a variety of disciplines, celebrating mountain bike culture and showcasing Whistler as a Canadian mountain biking capital. With over 300 singletracks between the Whistler Mountain Bike Park and the paved Valley Trail, this destination is indeed a mecca for bikes.

Schedule of Competition

Events at Whistler are packed with excitement, starting each day at 8 am with scheduled rides and a variety of thrilling competitions. Highlights include the Outdoor Research Speed & Style, the Whip-Off Championship presented by POC, the Ultimate Pump Track Challenge, Dual Slalom, and the RockShox Canadian Open DH. For younger riders, Kidsworx offers a range of engaging races and clinics, including the Kidsworx Enduro, Scavenger Hunt, B Line DH, and Pump Track and Dual Slalom clinics, ensuring fun and skill-building opportunities tailored specifically for young biking enthusiasts.

Events & Activities

The Expo buzzes with energy as top names in the industry and sponsors showcase their latest innovations and gear in vibrant tents and interactive displays throughout Whistler Village. The Tech Zone serves as the hub of professional mountain biking, where bike experts tinker with prototype bikes and engage with riders amidst team trailers during breaks between training sessions and races. Highlighting the creative spirit of the sport, Crankworx features events like the Deep Summer photo contest, showcasing breathtaking photography that captures the essence of mountain biking in the stunning Whistler landscape. Additionally, Dirt Diaries presents a thrilling video throw-down where filmmakers compete to create the most compelling biking videos, further igniting the passion and excitement of Crankworx Whistler.

Options include the RockShox Canadian Open DH 1199 Deck VIP for $400, providing elevated views, and the Trackside VIP for $160.
