The Velothon Berlin holds a reputation of one of the biggest cycling events in Europe. With its extremely fast breathtaking course along internationally famous sights, the event attracts more than 10,000 participants annually. In 2020, the Velothon Berlin was renamed VeloCity Berlin.
Professionals can go for the Pro Race, and amateurs can choose between two courses—60 km and 120 km. Both routes take participants to the well-known sights of Berlin such as the Victory Column, the Brandenburg Gate, the Potsdamer Platz, Berlin Cathedral, and much more. The start and finish of the shorter route is Messe Süd, while the longer one stretches into the Brandenburg countryside.
