For several days in September, art lovers from all over the world gather in the city for Berlin Art Week. The programme features a range of events. Two major art fairs are the "ABC Art Berlin Contemporary" and "Positions Berlin." A number of Berlin-based contemporary art institutions takes advantage of the opportunity to cooperate with different artists and galleries for a range of events, this way promoting Berlin as a perfect place for making, celebrating, and discussing art.
Berlin Art Week Highlights
The Art Week is a platform for new acquaintances and partnerships between collectors, media representatives, gallerists, international guests and for artists. The best networking opportunities are at opening receptions, performances, talks, and art installations.
