Art Toronto 2024
The only international fair for modern and contemporary art in Canada
Dates: October 24-27, 2024
Art Toronto takes place every October at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in downtown Toronto. The fair is one of the premier art events in the country, providing access to the Canadian art market and presenting works of the leading Canadian and international galleries. Art Toronto also features PLATFORM, lectures, and panel discussions from the most distinguished curators, artists, and other prominent figures of the world of art. Organizers work hard to run an extensive VIP Program and to host top-tier cultural events throughout the city.
Art Toronto Festival Events
Art Toronto took place for the first time in 2000. Its goal is to promote Toronto as the cultural capital of Canada and showcase the city's cosmopolitan and creative art community. Theatre, visual arts, and more than 125 art galleries and museums—Toronto has become one of the major cultural hubs in North America. Kicking off with an opening night show, the event unwinds in the form of public gallery showings and panel talks.
Art Toronto Opening Night (October 24, 2024)
Art Toronto Opening Night is one of the major highlights of the fair. It gathers hundreds of art enthusiasts, gallerists, collectors, sponsors, and artists for one of the biggest art parties of the year. The culmination of the event is the performance art show that never disappoints the audience. The event is held in partnership with McMichael Canadian Art Collection, which is centered exclusively around Canadian and Indigenous art. Prior to the Opening Night event, collectors and art fans can attend a unique Collector's First Look event, where they can get a first glimpse of the upcoming show. Drinks and appetizers are available for both events.

The Collector's First Look event spans from 4 pm until 6 pm, while the Opening Night lasts from 6 pm to 10 pm.
