Program

Every edition of the Long Night of Museums in Berlin offers a unique experience, and 2024 is no exception. This year, 75 museums will participate, with several making their debut. The central theme for the evening is "Berlin Secrets," exploring hidden stories and mysteries across the city's cultural landscape. Visitors can dive into 750 events that reveal the secrets behind paintings, uncover scientific enigmas, and explore a range of other intriguing questions.

Tickets

Tickets for the Long Night of Museums will be available starting on July 29 through the official website. During the initial ticket sale period from July 29 to August 11, regular tickets are priced at €12 each, with discounted tickets available for €10. After August 11, ticket prices will increase, with regular tickets costing €18 and discounted tickets at €12. Children up to the age of 12 can attend for free, but they will need to obtain a free children's ticket to gain entry. All tickets provide access to all participating museums and include the use of the Long Night shuttle buses, making it easy for visitors to explore the diverse offerings of Berlin's cultural institutions.

The Long Night of Museums was first conceived in Berlin in 1997 and has since inspired similar events around the globe. Originally a unique idea from Berlin, it has grown into a beloved tradition that continues to attract tens of thousands of visitors each year. The event is organized by Berlin's museums in collaboration with Kulturprojekte Berlin, ensuring a vibrant celebration of culture and art every year.
