Crankworx Innsbruck is an annual mountain biking festival that takes place every June at Bikepark Innsbruck. The 5-day event gathers bike pros who come to compete in exciting head-to-head races. The festival also brings lots of mountain biking fans and a great atmosphere to Bikepark that features stunning views and lots of action. The competition showcases 5 disciplines: Whip-Off, Pump Track, Dual Speed & Style, Slopestyle and Downhill. Every day spectators can witness final races full of adrenaline.
After the race ends, it's time to start a party! Various clubs, restaurants, and bars of Innsbruck become venues for bike festival special events and celebrations.
Crankworx was founded in Whistler, British Columbia, in 2004 as a multi-stop international mountain biking elite-level competitions in a variety of disciplines. There are also races for amateurs, Kidsworx for teenagers, and celebrations of mountain bike culture at its best.
Crankworx Innsbruck was launched in June of 2017. It was the first European Crankworx host location outside of France. The biggest gravity-fuelled mountain bike festival in the world goes bigger and louder, being held in Tyrolean mountains.
