Everyone can enjoy a bicycle ride on traffic-free central London during RideLondon-Essex 100 (former Prudential RideLondon FreeCycle). It's a great way to see many of the city's famous landmarks, like Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral or the House of Parliament and ride through neighboring Essex. The 100-mile (160-km) route will start on Victoria Embankment and finish at Tower Bridge, with 65 miles (105 km) through some of Essex's most beautiful countryside and villages in between. No wonder this free event draws dozens of thousands of people.

RideLondon-Essex 100 is a cycling festival supported by the Mayor of London. In addition to FreeCycle, it hosts the a new three-day RideLondon Classique: UCI Women’s WorldTour road race.

The festival also features a few Zones to explore with plenty of entertainment: music, bands on bikes, stilt bicycles, and rickshaws. Bike doctors will be available to help with technical problems.
