The competitions are circuit-based, which means riders start and finish at the same place. Both races are also called Laurentian Classics after the Saint Lawrence River. Whether you watch the race in Montreal or Quebec City, the world's greatest riders and the thrilling atmosphere won't leave you disappointed.

Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec (September 13, 2024)

The Quebec City race, which usually begins a few days earlier, is mostly concentrated in Old Town, serving as a magnificent backdrop of historical architecture and city landmarks. The terrain is quite hilly and has a steep descent, which offers certain challengers to the contestants. The route consists of 16 laps, 7.8 miles (12.6 km) per lap, with a total distance being 125 miles (201 km). The event usually begins at 11 am at Parc de la Francophonie.

Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal (September 15, 2024)

The Montreal race starts at Avenue du Parc and includes three climbs around Mount Royal. The track is comprised of 17 laps, 7.5 miles (12 km) each, with the total distance being 130 miles (209 km). The entire race takes approximately 5 hours to complete and normally begins at 11 am as well.
