Every year, the Ohio Chinese lantern festival shows off bigger and brighter displays and a more diverse cultural program. Larger-than-life light displays are created by Chinese artisans from Zigong, Sichuan, China’s center of lantern-making.

The Dragon Lights show occurs every night during the holiday season between late November and early January from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. It consists of an outdoor walk-through display of lights, a cultural performance, holiday gift market, and food stalls. General admission is $19 at the door, and you can also opt for the family package for about $50. The show is held at the Natural Resources Park in Ohio Expo Center.
