Every year, the Ohio Chinese lantern festival shows off bigger and brighter displays and a more diverse cultural program. Larger-than-life light displays are created by Chinese artisans from Zigong, Sichuan, China’s center of lantern-making.

Explore 33 sets of completely new lanterns made with exquisite silk and other traditional materials. The Dragon Lights show occurs every night during the holiday season between late November and early January from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. It consists of an outdoor walk-through display of lights, a cultural performance, holiday gift market, and food stalls. General admission is $19 at the door, and you can also opt for the family package for about $50. The show is held at the Natural Resources Park in Ohio Expo Center.
