The Blue Jacket Fantasy of Lights is an annual holiday festival held in Franke Park, located in downtown Fort Wayne, northeastern Indiana. This event offers more than just entertainment, with free popcorn and cocoa, visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a fun candy cane quiz. The highlight of the festival is the breathtaking 3-mile route, featuring over 600 individual light displays, some towering up to 30 feet. With 165 dazzling scenes and approximately 1.5 million LED lights, it’s a magical experience that captivates visitors of all ages.

Events & Activities

Each year, new displays are added, with 30 fresh ones for the 2024 season. Special theme nights enhance the experience, starting with Veterans Day on November 11, offering free admission to veterans and active-duty service members. Events include the Winter Wonder Dash, Bicycle Night, and the grand Opening Night Switch Flip, where a Blue Jacket client turns on the lights for the season. Santa’s Christmas Village opens on November 29, offering visits with Santa, shopping, and treats, running through December 23. The season wraps up with Four-Legged Friend Night on December 30 and a "Pay What You Want" finale on December 31.

Tickets & Hours

The Blue Jacket Fantasy of Lights operates Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30 pm to 10 pm. Admission is $15 per personal vehicle, $30 for 15-passenger vans or limos, and $60 for buses or trolleys. Both cash and credit/debit cards are accepted for payment.
