Empire State Building Run-Up 2024 in New York
Only 1,576 stairs and you're on the top of the city
Dates: October 9, 2024
Despite the fact that Empire State Building is equipped with working elevators, people have been paying to run up 1,576 stairs for the past 45 years and counting. Their main goal is to test themselves and get to the observation deck of the iconic Empire State Building. This is a challenge that runners and running enthusiasts from all over the world want to add to their bucket list. But since there is a limited number of places, those willing to participate have to win this opportunity in a lottery. The organizers of the event also cooperate with charitable organizations in order to help them raise funds for their missions. All the participants get to spend a little time on the top of the world in return.
