Go Heritage Run 2022 in India

Go Heritage Run is one of the most popular running series in India that combines athleticism and the observation of the most amazing world's heritage sites. The race takes place at various locations that include the scenic Pachmarhi, the former capital of the Central provinces, where British imperial troops were stationed during summers. It features natural caves, waterfalls, and mountains that will definitely have runners in awe. Another location is the historic Khajuraho, home of the Chandela Rajputs, and also Pench National Park.

As mentioned by the event organizers, the Go Heritage Run is currently on hold and will not be taking place. Rove.me will provide updates if there are any changes to this status.

Go Heritage Run was founded in 2014 by GoUNESCO founder Ajay Reddy. The idea was to promote top heritage locations in an unusual way. All runs are conducted at extraordinary sites. Distances of 5K, 10K, and a half marathon (21K) are offered. They are not time-bound. The races are always held on a Sunday. Previous race locations also included Hampi, Karnataka, Hyderabad, Ooty, Udaipur, Bidar, Badami, and Warangal.

The runs are not so much about athletic achievement as about the enriching experience. It is a holistic discovery and a unique chance to explore the scenic beauty and learn about the cultural heritage of various sites that are located off the beaten track.
