Podvin Local Market 2023-2024 in Slovenia

On the first Saturday of every month, the Podvin Market in Radovljica gathers local businesses and guests for a delightful experience. Starting at 10 am, the market offers a variety of local goods and culminates with a delicious lunch at noon.

From the Podvin Market to the Radol'ca Market

In 2013, chef Uroš Štefelin established the Podvin Market at Vila Podvin, held on the first Saturday of each month. The concept was straightforward: to provide visitors with local ingredients, which Uroš then transformed into unique dishes at the Vila Podvin restaurant.

When chef Uroš Štefelin and his team from Vila Podvin in Mošnje relocated to Radovljica at the end of 2021, they brought the monthly farmers, craft, and antiques market to Radovljica's charming old town. Unlike Vila Podvin, Hiša Linhart doesn't have a large garden, but it is situated in front of the beautiful Linhart Square, one of the best-preserved medieval squares in Slovenia.

The Radol'ca market offers a wide array of goods, including handicrafts from the Gorenjska region, especially the Radovljica area. The market features a rotating selection of stallholders, ensuring a unique experience each visit. You can try and buy various local foods, chat with the locals, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere. For a special treat, have lunch at Hiša Linhart or other Radol'ca restaurants, where dishes are made using market ingredients and prepared according to traditional recipes.
