The Maine Flower Show takes place every March at Thompson’s Point in Portland, Maine. It's the most anticipated event for landscapers, designers, horticulturists as well as gardening enthusiasts. Every year the Maine Flower Show puts out 13 display gardens, more than 100 exhibits of plants, garden supplies, and tools. Many industry professionals are attracted by seminars, workshops, and discussions during the show. In addition to that, the Premiere Night festivities and award ceremony is another possibility to socialize and make contacts.
Display gardens are the main attraction of the show. These interactive and walkable spaces showcase the natural beauty of Maine. Plantings, blooms, stone structures, waterscapes—these displays take visitors to a coastal paradise, or a spring garden in Down East Maine. The show also features over 100 vendors offering plants, arbor, and garden supplies.
The Maine Flower Show provides many educational opportunities for kids—planting, learning about food, interactive demonstrations, a scavenger hunt, and other activities.
