The Maine Renaissance Faire is a unique event, which happens every year in Acton, Maine. Through music, dance, food, and other entertainment, this festival allows visitors to experience the joys of the Renaissance era. Expect to be transported to the bygone times, full of courageous knights and wandering medieval musicians.

The event organizers invite over 100 vendors, selling distinctive crafts, costumes, and other Renaissance-themed items. The Maine Renaissance Faire is a must-attend event that shouldn't be missed, regardless of whether you're a history enthusiast or just seeking to have a good time.

The highlights of the Faire include RoundTable Jousting, where two knights engage in medieval combat to become the Queen's champion. This action-packed performance is full of excitement, fun, and surprises. Brotherhood of the Arrow and Sword is another impressive performance, featuring live steel combat, archery, and historic reenactment. Sheriff Bracken’s Trial & Dunke Show is always a crowd pleaser, making the public familiar with medieval justice and trials. Aaron Bonk Fire Whips & Swords Show, Adamo Ignis Fire and Danger Show, and The Flaming Ginger, which combines juggling and comedy, are just a few attractions that can't be missed.

Tickets to the Maine Renaissance Faire can be purchased online and at the gate. Regular 1-day admission is $25, child admission (ages 5-12) is $15, while children 4 and under get in for free. Ticket sales at the gate are cash only. Parking is free.
