Since 1981, the Scarborough Renaissance Festival has been a beloved North Texas tradition, celebrating the visit of King Henry VIII and his royal court. Daily beer and wine tastings, as well as 12 pubs and taverns scattered throughout the festival grounds, offer a wide variety of drink options. From giant roasted turkey legs to Scottish eggs and fresh pastries, there is a Renaissance delicacy to satisfy every craving.

Artisan marketplace

The sights and sounds of the Renaissance at Scarborough's artisan marketplace encourage shoppers to explore over 300 village shops with unique handcrafted goods, from weapons and armor to jewelry and pottery. Artisans demonstrate age-old crafts and techniques, including metal works, hand-blown glass works, and hand-carved sculptures, so the audience can enjoy the spectacle and take home a piece of the Renaissance to cherish forever.

Ticket information

The Scarborough Renaissance Festival offers single-day tickets, weekend passes, or season passes. A one-day ticket for adults (ages 13+) could be purchased for $38 at the gate or for $32 online in advance to save time and money. Children (ages 4 and under) do not require a ticket, and there are discounts available for children aged 5-12, seniors, military personnel, and groups. The organizers emphasize that for certain entertainments additional fees may be required.
