Living History Demonstrations
Witness the daily lives and combat skills of the Ulfraendi Vikings, who showcase battle tactics, traditional crafts, and tent living from 800-950 AD. The Dragons Own Medieval Combat Group brings to life the chivalric and martial traditions of the Middle Ages, featuring live steel combat and medieval games.
Cultural Exhibits
The Victorian Society of Alberta presents a range of activities from the 19th century, including a functioning telegraph, croquet games, and a casualty clearing station. Meanwhile, the Edmonton House Brigade reenacts the fur trade era, with ongoing demonstrations of fur hide tanning and traditional woodworking.
Military Reenactments
Explore the military history of different eras with the Yankee Valley Yankees' portrayal of the American Civil War, including a field hospital setup. The 10th Battalion (CEF) Commemorative Association honors Canadian soldiers from World War I with authentic uniforms and equipment. The First Special Service Force reenactors demonstrate the elite skills of this joint Canadian-American unit from World War II, featuring parachuting, amphibious landings, and close-quarters combat.

Ticket Prices and Practical Information
General admission for ages seven and above is $10 per day, with free entry for children under 6. Parking is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs due to limited shade. Pets are not allowed, except for service dogs. For those planning an extended stay, nearby accommodations and camping options are available in Didsbury and surrounding areas.
