Massachusetts Renaissance Faire is an annual event, running at Cummington Fairgrounds in Cummington town, Massachusetts, over two wonderful weekends in early August. Everything happening around the festival grounds reminds you of the Renaissance era: the clatter of the horses' hooves, the clang of the lances in a knights' joust, and the old singing. Besides, every visitor can complement the mood by dressing up as a knight, a princess, a witch, a royal representative, or a citizen of the Realm of the Fae.

Massachusetts Renaissance Faire 2024 will run for August 3–4, at Cummington Fairgrounds, which is 1.1 miles (1.8 km) from Cummington. Faire promises an enchanting sojourn through time, brimming with captivating experiences that will transport you to the heart of the Renaissance.
Festival program
The program of the events and activities, presented at the Massachusetts Renaissance Faire, fall into two parts. The daytime entertainment caters to the whole family. Guests enjoy staged performances, shop at the Market of the Moons, get involve in themed games, and learn ancient crafts. But on Saturdays after 7 pm, the focus shifts to adults-only fun, including "Market After Dark." The daring shows and dirty humor are not appropriate for the young audience.
So, guests can visit faire on Saturday—10am-7pm is "Family Friendly Faire Fun"; 7 pm- 10 pm is "Market After Dark" (18+) and Sunday—10 am-5p m is "Family Friendly Faire Fun and Pet Day." Online tickets will be available soon.
Pet Policy
The Massachusetts Renaissance Faire has detailed rules for guests with pets. In particular, the visitor can come with only one healthy pet, registered at the entrance to the festival. Also, pets must be on a leash at all times. No female animals in heat will be permitted entry to the fair, neither unruly, nervous, noisy, aggressive or ill pets. Pet owners must monitor the behavior of their pets and respect the peaceful rest of other guests.
In addition to singing along with pirates, spectators can watch knights clash on the tourney field and watch aerial acrobats perform death-defying feats. You can discover handmade goods, meet local artisans, and shop fantastical vendors. Play fun games with the whole family: shoot ancient missile weapons, practice fencing with foam swords, or throw axes at wooden targets.
