Festival Highlights
Armored combat by the Armored Combat Worldwide (ACW) team, which competes in international tournaments, is one of the main highlights of the festival. Full combat jousts are held at noon and 3 pm every day. Live music is another crowd-pleaser. Guests love beautiful and funny performances by the Merry Wives of Windsor, The Story Wrens, Tea and Strumpets, The Minstrels of Mirule, The Merry Larks, and others. The little ones will undoubtedly enjoy Buccaneer Boot Camp, where the young pirates will learn sailor and pirate terminologies, get balloon swords, and receive basic training in swordsmanship. Once they are ready, they can engage in sword fights with the pirate crew on the pirate ship. The festival also has a children’s play area with games, a daily costume contest, and more.
Hours and Tickets
The Central Coast Renaissance Festival runs from 10 am to 6 pm on both days. Adult single-day tickets are $30, and children and seniors pay $25. Children under age 6 get in for free. The weekend adult tickets are $45, and a weekend senior or child ticket is $35.
