Dates: May 25–26, 2024 (Memorial Day Weekend)

Shasta Renaissance and Fantasy Faire is an annual themed festival, gathering the fans of a fairytale at Shasta District Fairgrounds, Anderson, California. The event is traditionally scheduled for late May, the Memorial Day weekend, to be more precise. The Hasta Renaissance and Fantasy Faire 2024 promises an enchanting journey into the realms of imagination, where fantasy meets reality in a truly unforgettable experience.

The faire offers entertainment and activities suitable for the whole family, making it a perfect outing for children and adults alike. Kids can enjoy face painting, games, and meet-and-greets with fantasy characters, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone.

Events and Activities

The celebration is organized by Golden Goblin, a fair & entertainment production company. Spectators arriving at the Shasta Renaissance and Fantasy Faire have been entertained and given unforgettable emotions by Jeff Ugly Shoes, Rocking Horse, Claude the Dragon, Dotter's Knot, The Bawdy Juggler, Merry Castle Dancers, The Scurvy Barnacles, Tom the Viking, and many others.

Guilds and Camps

Faire events include activities of the different Guilds and Camps: The Guild of St. Margaret of Scotland, Inc., Kaotic Mythicals, The Lair of Yslsl, The Dead Bluffs, Savage Lands/Empire of Medieval Pursuits, The Stirling Mercenaries, and The Rogues of the Golden Coast. For example, The Guild of St. Margaret of Scotland, Inc. aims to enchant visitors with the realism of the court of King James VI/Ib, which Ladies in Waiting, Courtiers, the Royal Household, and members of the Royal Family help to do.

With a troupe of volunteer educators & performers, Kaotic Mythicals engages, entertains, and educates in nature sciences. Award-winning educators with over 35 years of teaching experience developed, adapted, or modified these engagements.
