But the main occasion, the Naples 4th of July Fireworks, takes place at dusk at the popular tourist attraction of Naples Causeway. You can observe the show from multiple places along the gorgeous Long Lake Waterfront: on water, land, or from a restaurant—this choice is up to you. With many pre-shows around town, it's the perfect way to celebrate America's independence.

Portland 4th of July Fireworks and Events (July, 2024)

Located 32 miles (51 km) from Naples, Portland, Maine hosts a grand celebration during Independence Day. The town is one of the best places to celebrate the Fourth of July with the family. East End Park is a good choice to throw a blanket and organize an appetizing picnic. Various food trucks will indulge your taste buds in the Cutter Street lot. The culmination of the day will be a fireworks display at approximately 9:15 pm in the town park.

Bridgton, Maine 4th of July Fireworks (July, 2024)

A trip to Bridgton will take you even less time (12 miles (19 km) from Naples) but will give you a lot of positive emotions on Independence Day. The town of Bridgton hosts its annual July 3rd Crafts and Vendor Fair with a spectacular fireworks show. Visitors can spend the whole day walking through the Fair and buying original souvenirs and end the evening with fireworks at dusk.

Auburn, Maine Fireworks | The Liberty Festival (July, 2024)

The Liberty Festival is an Independence Day celebration along the banks of the Androscoggin River, where two communities (Auburn and Lewiston) rich in heritage work and celebrate together. Festivities usually kick off at 5 pm in Lewiston's Veterans Park and at 6 pm in Auburn's Great Falls Plaza. Be sure to explore the various vendors and live performances on both sides of the river. And don't miss the spectacular fireworks display at 9:30 pm. Auburn is located 27 miles (44 km) from Naples, so this short trip is worth it.

New Gloucester, Maine Fireworks and Parade (July 3, 2024)

Gloucester locals and guests have the annual opportunity to celebrate Independence Day by attending the Horribles Parade and a large traditional fireworks display over Gloucester Harbor. Also, the organizers entertain the audience every year with the Concert on the Boulevard, which takes place closer to the evening. New Gloucester is located 25 miles (40 km) from Naples, so don't delay your trip.
