MOVE IT 2020

The world’s largest dance event, celebrating all forms of performing arts

MOVE IT is a three-day celebration of all things dance. This festival has something for every performer, dancer or spectator. 29,000 dancers take part in this fantastic event taking place in ExCeL London every March. The central performances take place at the Main Stage performances, but there are also classes, career opportunities, acting, and vocal arts workshops. The creative program of the festival includes 100 concerts, 260 dance classes, 26 masterclasses, dance competitions, castings, auditions, and fashion shows. The Freestyle Stage is a place where everyone can show his or her moves in front of the public, and there are also dozens of dancewear stalls with everything a dancer needs.

MOVE IT was founded in London in 2005 by Georgina Harper, who has become Creative Director of the show. The festival features the Trade Day featuring over 700 exhibitors, dance and sportswear retailers. Get On Stage is an online dance competition judged by dancing professionals and choreographers.

Past performers at MOVE IT included Flawless, Nicole and Matthew Cuttler.
