MOVE IT 2025 in London

The world’s largest dance event, celebrating all forms of performing arts

Dates: March 7–9, 2025

MOVE IT is a three-day celebration of dance that offers something for every performer, dancer, and spectator. Held every March at ExCeL London, the festival features 29,000 dancers and a dynamic program that includes 100 concerts, 260 dance classes, 26 masterclasses, dance competitions, auditions, castings, and fashion shows.

Dance Events

Beyond its central Main Stage performances, MOVE IT offers a variety of experiences, including classes, career opportunities, and workshops in acting and vocal arts. The Freestyle Stage allows dancers to showcase their moves in front of an audience, while dozens of dancewear stalls provide everything a performer might need.

The festival also includes a Trade Day, featuring over 700 exhibitors and dance and sportswear retailers. The "Get On Stage" online competition, judged by professional dancers and choreographers, adds another exciting element. Attendees can explore over 270 classes spanning 24 dance styles, from Ballet, Ballroom, and Acrobatics to Musical Theatre, Audition Training, and West End Workshops.

The iconic Diversity, the talented Serena McCall, Dylan Mayoral, and many other exceptional performers will lead the festivities. The festival, which takes place over three exciting days—Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—offers a dynamic program filled with awe-inspiring performances, workshops, and opportunities to meet dance legends. This year’s headliners include stars like Abby Lee Miller, Monique Jonas, Randall Watson, Tzu-Chao Chou, and Thao Nguyen, who will all grace the stage alongside other renowned dancers.

History of MOVE IT

MOVE IT was founded in London in 2005 by Georgina Harper, who has since become its Creative Director. Past performers at MOVE IT have included Flawless, Nicole, and Matthew Cuttler.
